Delete memos and your account

Delete one memo
Swipe the memo in the list, or open it and choose Delete from its menu. A Cloud AI memo is removed from your account together with its audio file. An On-device AI memo is removed from the phone.
Delete your account and everything in it
- Open Memo and go to Settings.
- Tap Delete account.
- Confirm. Your account, your Cloud AI memos and their audio files are deleted.
On-device AI memos are not in your account, because they never left the phone. Delete them in the app or delete the app.
If you can no longer sign in, e-mail support@withmemo.app from the address linked to your account. Details on retention are in the Privacy Policy.

Does deleting the app delete my account?
No. Deleting the app removes On-device AI memos from the phone but leaves your Cloud AI account in place. Use Delete account in Settings to remove it.
How long does account deletion take?
The account, its memos and its audio files are removed when you confirm. Server logs are kept for about 30 days as standard.
I cannot sign in any more. Can you delete my account?
Yes. E-mail support@withmemo.app from the address linked to your account and we will delete it.
