Free limits, Memo Pro, cancelling and restoring
Updated 3 September 2026
The free tier
- On-device AI: no upload limits. Recording length is limited only by your phone’s storage.
- Cloud AI: recordings up to 30 minutes and a daily allowance.
Memo Pro
Memo Pro lifts the Cloud AI limits. It is an auto-renewing subscription billed by Apple to your Apple ID. The plans and prices in your currency are shown in the app before you buy. If a plan includes a free trial, it converts to a paid subscription unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends.
Managing the subscription
Everything is handled by Apple:
- Cancel: Settings on your iPhone, your name, Subscriptions, Memo, Cancel. Or open App Store subscriptions. You keep Memo Pro until the end of the period you paid for. Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription.
- Restore: on a new phone, sign in with the same Apple ID and tap Restore Purchases in Memo’s settings.
- Refunds: through Apple, under the App Store terms.
The full subscription terms are in the Terms of Use.
